ABOUT ME

I am a young artist originally from Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from James Madison University in 2021. There, I studied Studio Art with a concentration in printmaking, as well as Art Education. I obtained a BFA in Studio Art along with a PK-12 Visual Arts Teaching License. After college, I moved to Virginia Beach, where I taught art to PK-8 for three years. My husband's work took us across the country to Coronado, California, where we now reside with our Great Dane . When able, I continue to create myself. I prefer to work with charcoal, pastels or paint, yet I do not say no to any material. A lot of my creations will feature unconventional items, such as eggshells, sand, or coffee for example. My work is expressive and eye-catching. I enjoy switching between realistic and abstract subject matters.

My work was featured at the Calm in Chaos exhibition (2021) at Artworks Gallery in Harrisonburg, VA
